Mr. Sriram Chandrashekar, also known as Ram, has been an Executive Vice President of Operational Excellence & IT and President of Asia Pacific Middle East Region of ManpowerGroup Inc. since February 2014. Mr. Chandrashekar served as a Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence and IT at ManpowerGroup Inc. since November 2012 until February 2014. Mr. Chandrashekar is responsible for two areas - helping drive operational excellence and leading the global IT change - allowing ManpowerGroup to achieve its operating profit objectives. He has an excellent track record, as Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific and Middle East, of improving operational results through operational discipline. He supports Jonas Prising and Darryl Green to drive operational discipline throughout the business. Before joining Manpower, he was Chief Operating Officer of Sterling Infotech Group of companies, a US $2 billion enterprise with diversified interests in high growth sectors such as communication, media, renewable energy, realty, food and wellness. During his tenure with Sterling, he built the Group's telecom business, consisting of mobile telephony (Aircel), broadband wireless (Dishnet), enterprise services (Dishnet) and telecom consulting (for Tata Teleservices and Tata Communications) and grew them to market leadership positions. Prior to Sterling, Mr. Chandrashekar had worked as Chief Finance Officer of JTS Technology Ltd., a hard disk drive manufacturing company headquartered in San Jose, California and with global consulting firms, Deloitte & Touch??? and Arthur Andersen, in the US and India. He has served as Executive Council Member of Cellular Operator Association of India and Internet Service Providers Association of India and as Member of Indo American Chamber of Commerce and American Business Council, Chennai. Mr. Chandrashekar has dual Masters Degrees - Master of Professional Accounting from Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA and Master of Commerce from the University of Madras, India.
