Mr. Steven R. Chaben, also known as Steve, serves as Senior Vice President of Marcus & Millichap, Inc. Mr. Chaben served as a Senior Vice President - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Inc at Marcus & Millichap, Inc. and served as its Managing Director since 2009. Mr. Chaben serves as the Eastern U.S. director of the firm's National Office and Industrial Properties Group. He served as an Managing Director of Detroit Office at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Inc. He served as Regional Manager of Detroit & Grand Rapids offices at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Inc. He joined Marcus & Millichap in 1997 as a Regional Manager and was charged with establishing the Detroit office and sales force. Since the start of the Detroit office, Mr. Chaben has overseen more than 1,100 transactions valued at $5.1 billion. He served as a Vice President since 2000 and First Vice President since 2004 and also Managing Director since 2009. He served as Regional Manager of Cincinnati of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Inc. Mr. Chaben is a graduate of Wayne State University and received a Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law.
