Mr. Shane Akeroyd has been Executive Vice President, Global Head of Account Management and Regional Head of Asia Pacific at IHS Markit Ltd. since July 12, 2016. Mr. Akeroyd serves as an Executive Vice President, Global Head of Account Management and Regional Head of Asia Pacific at IHS Markit Ltd. He joined Markit as Head of sales in 2008 and served as in that position until July 12, 2016. He served as Global Head of Sales & Marketing and Managing Director at Markit Ltd. He has over 20 years of sales experience. He served as an Executive Vice President of Markit Group Limited since 2008 and served as its Co-Head of Global Sales, Client Support and Marketing. He served as the Head of Global Debt Markets Distribution of RBC Capital Markets and served as its Member of the Executive Management Team. Prior to RBC, he served as Vice Chair of Capital Market Sales of TD Securities, responsible for European, Asian and Australian sales. Mr. Akeroyd holds a B.Sc (Honours) in Economics from University College London.
