Executive Bio

Mr. Daryl Arthur Nickel has been Executive Vice President of Lodging Development, Select-Service and Extended-Stay Brands at Marriott International, Inc. since 2011. Mr. Nickel completed a 22-year career at Marriott International, Inc. in 2009. He served as a corporate officer of Marriott International since 1998. Since 2011, he has served as a consultant to White Peterman Properties, Inc. From 2011 to July 2014, he served as a consultant to Whiteco Pool Solutions. From 2009 to 2010, he served as a consultant to Apple Fund Management, Inc. He has been an Independent Director of Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. since January 1, 2015. Mr. Nickel graduated from Georgetown Law School and earned his bachelor's degree from Washburn University.
