John Q. Doyle — President & CEO of Marsh at Marsh McLennan

Mr. John Q. Doyle has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh LLC at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. since April 15, 2016 and July 5, 2017 respectively. Mr. Doyle oversees Marsh's core brokerage business in its six global regions, along with Global Sales, Global Clients and Marsh & McLennan Agency. Prior to joining Marsh in April 2016, Mr. Doyle served as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Commercial Insurance at American International Group, Inc. until December 14, 2015. He served as Executive Vice President of Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance at American International Group since 2013. He served as an Executive Vice President of Chartis Uganda Insurance Company Limited. He served as President of AIG Property Casualty U.S., Inc. (alternate name, AIG Commercial Insurance) at Lexington Insurance Company. He served as an Executive Vice President of AIG and Chartis Aerospace Insurance Services, Inc. He served as Head of Domestic Personal Lines Division of AIU Holdings Inc. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chartis U.S., Inc. until March 2011 and served as its Executive Vice President. He had responsibility for Chartis' U.S. and Canadian commercial property- casualty business and its Private Client Group. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa. since April 14, 2006. He served as the President of American Home Assurance Company, Inc., a subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) since March 2002. Mr. Doyle served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AIG Executive Liability since April 14, 2006. Over the course of his 23-year career, he has held senior executive positions in management and professional liability, excess casualty, workers' compensation and field management within the U.S. commercial property-casualty companies of AIG and AIU Holdings. Mr. Doyle served as an Executive Vice President of AIG's Domestic Brokerage Group and was responsible for Field Operations. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of AIG Environmental. He joined AIG in 1986 in the Management Liability Division of National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh. In 1994, he assumed a management role in National Union's Professional Liability Division and served as President of that Division since 1996. In 1998, he took on additional management responsibility for National Union's Middle Market Group. He serves as a Non Executive Director of Ascot Underwriting Ltd. He served as a Director of K2 Intelligence, LLC until March 14, 2016. He is a member of the Board of the New York Police and Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund and is also a Trustee of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund. Mr. Doyle is a Graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo.
