Mr. Edward McLaughlin, also known as Ed, has been President of Operations and Technology at Mastercard Incorporated. since May 1, 2017. Mr. McLaughlin served as the Chief Information Officer of MasterCard Incorporated since January 1, 2016 to until May 1, 2017. Mr. McLaughlin served as the Chief Emerging Payments Officer of MasterCard Incorporated from October 2013 to December 31, 2015. Mr. McLaughlin was a Co-Founder of PAYTRUST, Inc. and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Paytrust, he served as an Executive Vice President of Marketing at LogicWorks, Inc. Mr. McLaughlin served as a Director of Information Tools of Actium, Manager of EDI Services of Information and Financial Services and Corporate Services Analyst of Industrial Valley Bank. He designed large-scale EDI implementations, including projects at Motorola, The Florsheim Shoe Company, IBM and Martin Marietta. He served as a Group Executive for MasterCard's Franchise Development group. He joined MasterCard in 2005 as Group Head of Bill Payment and Healthcare. Prior to MasterCard, he served as Group Vice President of Product and Strategy at Metavante. Mr. McLaughlin joined Metavante in 2002 through acquisition of Paytrust. He served as a Director of Paytrust Inc. Mr. McLaughlin holds a BS in Finance and Decision Science from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
