This depends on the type of engineer they are interviewing. There are many different types of engineers and they all have different roles.
How flexible is your work schedule at Mastercard?
It really depends on your manager. Some will tell you it's no problem and you can do what you need to do, work from home, be in the office, work from a different location. But some managers will tell you that you need to be in the office at least 8 hours a day. It also depends on your job, some jobs need to be in the office, others can work remotely. But in general, it's fairly flexible.

We have many different engineering teams here at mastercard. It all depends on which team you work for. Network engineering, software engineering, software engineering, etc.
How's the vacation policy at MasterCard?
It depends on the position, but it is very generous. I started out as a senior engineer, I get 15 days of vacation, 10 days of sick time, 5 personal days, and 5 volunteer days.
Does MasterCard have any remote positions?
They do, but they are few and far between. They do allow quite a bit of flex work for many positions, but it really depends.
