Executive Bio

Mr. Hiang Choong has been Division President of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan at MasterCard Incorporated since June 2015. Mr. Choong assumes responsibility for all aspects of the business including strategy, business development, acceptance expansion, operations, marketing and product introductions for the continued growth and expansion of MasterCard in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer of MasterCard based in New York. He has held various leadership roles within MasterCard including head of Legal for MasterCard's Asia/Pacific and Middle East & Africa regions based in Singapore. Prior to MasterCard, he held a number of key roles with various global organisations including General Counsel for PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting East Asia based in Singapore, and IBM based in Sydney, Australia. He is a lawyer by training.
