Ms. Martina Hund-Mejean has been Chief Financial Officer of MasterCard International Incorporated (also known as MasterCard Worldwide) since 2007. Ms. Hund-Mejean is responsible for Corporate Controller, Tax, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Strategy, M&A, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Risk Management, Global Supply Chain, Business Unit Finance and Regional Finance. She has been the Chief Financial Officer of Mastercard Incorporated since November 15, 2007. Ms. Hund-Mejean serves as the Chief Financial Officer of MasterCard Worldwide, Inc. Prior to joining MasterCard in 2007, she served as the Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Tyco International Ltd. from January 2003 to March 10, 2008. She joined Tyco in 2002 as part of its new management with responsibility for all areas of treasury, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to Tyco, she served as a Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Lucent Technologies Inc. (now Alcatel-Lucent) from November 2000 to December 2002. From 1988 to 2000, Ms. Hund-Mejean held a series of finance positions of increasing responsibility at General Motors Corporation, both in the United States and the United Kingdom, including the Assistant Treasurer post. She held positions of ascending importance at General Motors Corporation, including Assistant Treasurer, Treasurer's Office. She began her corporate career as a credit analyst at Dow Chemical in Frankfurt, Germany. Ms. Hund-Mejean serves as a Director of Covidien International Finance S.A. and Topaz International Group S.A. She has been an Independent Director of Prudential Financial, Inc. since October 1, 2010. She serves as a Director of Prudential Insurance Company of America at The Prudential Variable Contract Real Property Partnership. She served as a Director of Tyco International Finance S.A. She served as a Director of THGSA at Covidien plc (also known as Covidien Ltd.). She served as a Director of Tyco Electronics Group S.A. She has been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance by Treasury & Risk Management Magazine on three occasions. Ms. Hund-Mejean holds a Master's Degree in Economics from University of Freiburg, Germany and MBA from Darden Graduate School of Business at University of Virginia.
