Mr. Miebach joined Barclays in July 2007 as the Managing Director for Sub-Saharan Africa. He served 13 years with Citigroup in Germany, Austria, UK and Turkey. Mr. Miebach served as a Non Executive Director of Barclays Bank of Botswana Ltd. from February 2008 to July 15, 2008.
