Executive Bio

Ms. Shamina Singh has been President of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth at Mastercard Incorporated since December 2016. Ms. Singh leads the creation and execution of a sustainability strategy, taking into consideration how it operates in the current social, cultural and economic context. Ms. Singh served as Vice President of Government & Public Affairs at Nike Inc. She was executive director of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth from December 2013 to July 2016. Prior to joining Mastercard, she drove public affairs and community development efforts for Nike and Citigroup. During a 15-year career in the public sector, she held senior positions in the White House and the US House of Representatives. In 2015, she was appointed to a six-year term on the Board of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency responsible for engaging more than five million citizens in community service. Ms. Singh is an alumna of the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leaders program and serves on its Council on Economic Growth and Social Inclusion. She serves on the board of Global Health Corps and the advisory boards of Data & Society and the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University. She is a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute.
