The CEO has been at this company since 1974, so no knew ideas at all. They run this company in 2021 like it was run in the 1970's. Management is abusive to their employees, and the company is run like a cult. Stay away from this place, especially software engineers.

We all need to leave for better jobs. Anyone in middle-management has drunk the kool-aid and is a huge part of the problem.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This company for decades has underpaid their employees, especially techies. They use a proprietary software no one else uses, so why pay for abilities for one has when they are just going to train you on their crappy software and programming language.
