Medtronic Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

It is focused on situational interview questions

Short and to the point. Not too many rounds

Cross functional participation an interview process allows for multiple perspectives

Spent a lot of time on sales experience and current customer feedback.

Review from Marketing Dept

to see & analyse candidate's communication ability

Pretty straight forwared couple interveiws

Review from Operations Dept

Meeting potential team members and hearing their experiences.

the regular update from the recruiter

Review from Customer Support Dept

People expressed they wanted me to come there

They truly took time to listen,

Sitting down with top executives versus VP's area managers that just check a box.

Review from Sales Dept

absolutely nothing it was the longest process ever in three days

Easy but not always fair and equitable. I think there needs to be more attention to hiring diverse candidates in terms of ethnic, gender and experience backgrounds

Team interview, get to meet supervisors immediately. Low key interview.

It was a year long interview while in contract position

People providing insights to the culture, mission and work expectations

Everyone smiled all through the process, making you extremely at ease. When they sense some tension they immediately keep you calm.

Transparent, up front, genuine. They depicted the job correctly.

Review from IT Dept

Interview was friendly but covered what needed to be asked

Review from Customer Support Dept

Time for personal interaction and questions

Review from Marketing Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

They need to be more decisive. I interviewed around 10-12 times as they tried to figure out if I could handle the job.

Less generic and putting the candidate at the center

The time that it takes to get from application to interview is very long. It is stressful for those applying, but also for those who desperately need to fill positions.

Review from Engineering Dept

Be more honest about the company

There was so many interviews, I felt like they were all asking the same questions. Maybe they could have done a board of sorts to make it move faster.

Reduce forced diversity, empoweing women doesnt mean hiring women only irrespective of the skills match
