Mr. Eyal Waldman is a co-founder of Mellanox and has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. since March 1999. Mr. Waldman co-founded Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. in 1999. He served as an Executive Chairman of Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. from March 1999 to June 18, 2013. He is the Co-founder of Galileo Technology Ltd., and has served as its Vice President of Research and Development. He has also served as its Vice President of Engineering from March 1993 to February 1999. Mr. Waldman was intimately involved in the definition, execution, marketing, sales and customer support for all of Galileo's products which he started with a small team and built a highly productive engineering group of 160 employees who developed state of the art design methodologies, resulting in production-worthy first silicon successes. Prior to this, Mr. Waldman worked for Intel from August 1989 to March 1993. He participated in defining the architecture and micro-architecture of Intel's next generation x86 microprocessors and the architecture of Intel's next generation Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) computer. Mr. Waldman served as an Officer in one of the Elite infantry units of the IDF. He has been Director of Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. since March 1999. He served as a Director of YCD Atmosphere and Sigma Designs Israel S.D.I Ltd. He serves as the Member of Advisory Board of Eucalyptus Growth Capital, Westlake Group, LLC and Viola Ventures. In 1991, he earned highest distinction awarded by Intel, the Intel Achievement Award, for the 82495 Cache Controller design and was recognized as the Israel Design Center Employee of the Year in 1992. Mr. Waldman holds one patent on the synchronization mechanism of Intel's future 64-bit architecture and three pending patents. He is considered as one of Israels most successful serial entrepreneurs. Mr. Waldman holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Computer Science faculty from Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
