Mersive is a leading provider of software-based, cloud-enabled meeting and learning collaboration solutions for both onsite and remote teams. Our platform, Solstice, provides content-rich collaboration for both onsite and remote meeting use cases using existing enterprise network and web conferencing solutions of choice. Because Mersive takes a software-based approach to collaboration, we can offer integrated capabilities that have traditionally required additional hardware – such as digital signage, room analytics, active learning, and calendar integration – all managed from Solstice Cloud management.
Mersive was founded in 2006 and its current CEO is Robert Balgley. Since its inception 20 years ago, Mersive has grown to 160 employees.
To Change the Way Teams Work and Learn.
To be the Wireless Collaboration Platform in every Meeting Space Worldwide.
Mersive has made a concerted effort to reduce our footprint in a lot various aspects:
Recycling: We leverage an electronic recycling company to recycle all electronic waste and, through our hardware swap-out program, also recycle the electronic units/components of systems from other manufacturers. We also have selective recycling implemented where possible for cartons and other recyclable shipping materials. We use paper shredding and recycling for all office papers.
We promote donating, rather than discarding, any unused office furniture, old equipment, or unused electronics.
All of our products and capabilities are delivered through Solstice, our on-premise I/O hub, which is a small black box that measures 18.5cm x 8.5cm x 3cm. No other in-room hardware is needed reducing the amount of electronic and shipping components.
We recently renovated our office space replacing all lightbulbs with energy efficiency LED bulbs. All new construction included sensor lighting to reduce energy consumption.
Installation of water filters and water bottle fillers to reduce use of plastic disposable bottles. We do not offer disposable water bottles in our office.
We leverage Elastic cloud servers to optimize energy use and reduce impact on energy pollution.
We promote alternative transportation through a commuter benefit program, which rewards Mersive employees that use alternative transportation to travel to work with a commuter stipend.
HVAC units are set on a temperature control setting to avoid constant running and save energy.
Removed the old blinds and replaced with sheer/transparent blinds that block out harsh lighting but still let in light to avoid turning the lights on during the day.
Mersive provides up to 48 hours/year for each employee, which can be used for any volunteer experience that they wish. We encourage employees to connect with organizations they are passionate about giving back to and to use these volunteer hours.
Mersive periodically holds fundraising or food/supply drives for local nonprofit organizations such as: MetroCaring, Girls Who Code, Denver Rescue Mission, and Wish for Wheels. We are always looking for new opportunities to give back in the areas of youth, STEM education, representation in the tech space, and the Denver Five Points Community.
