Promoting from within. Listening to the people who actually do the work. Showing compassion for people who aren't "upstairs" if you get my drift. Reprimanding people who are "drama".

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I spent much time with Metagenics and watched them fail to promote from within on several occasions. They want to keep their "strengths" where they are. Leads should be called what they are, (Managers) and should be paid as such. To be responsible for so much and make the same as a fast food worker?
What are some of the best things about your team?
Pure professionals. They were the only reason to stay

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Raise the pay higher, some color, windows would be nice, music would be amazing, Director of Operations comes in and bosses every one around when they are already doing their most diligent work.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Place is a rumor mill. Management listens but doesn't care. Policies and manufacturing procedures need to be updated to further the company. Hard workers are promoted then fired when their pay peaks, leaving behind all the slackers who don't do a thing all day. No windows or music feels like jail!
