What's the work from home policy like at mGage?
Some were promised work from home but then it was later taken away.
There isn't one unless you are an exec or privileged person... The staff is punished but the VP of HR, COO, CEO, Sr. Director of Marketing, VP of Operations, etc is allowed to "work from home" at all times...
there isn't anything official and if anything work from home is frowned upon unless you are a senior executive (COO, VP's, Senior Directors, etc). Individual contributors do not have the "right" to do so...
Does mGage drug test or do a background check?
both. Drug tests for legal drugs/medications as well :(
yes for substances that are legal in many places around the country that Vivial/mGage has offices

don't have a good answer for this right now
How flexible is your work schedule at mGage?
8-5 is expected
What's the internship program like at mGage?
it is for "family" only... The CEO's sons get preference for positions they want
How does mGage handle HR issues?
Poorly and with an iron fist. HR is ineffective and is basically in place to layoff people. Number of employees has dropped significantly over the past 2 years.
How innovative is mGage?
low - still running java 5 in many areas....

What should I wear for an interview at mGage?
Fully dependent upon the position. Suit and Tie for Sales but jeans and a hoodie for the technical teams

If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at mGage?
Remove the antiquated "In the office" Policies. Remove the behind closed door politics. Be MUCH more transparent with your employees. The reason this company is successful is because of the EMPLOYEES - NOT The Senior Leadership "it doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do" - Steve Jobs...

depends upon the position entirely. 2 hours is about the norm
