Mr. William Joseph Hornbuckle IV, also known as Bill, has been a Director of MGP since March 2016 and has been a Manager of the MGM Growth Properties OP GP LLC since June 2016. Mr. Hornbuckle has also been the President of MGM since December 2012. In this capacity, one of his main roles is to serve as the Company's Chief Construction Design and Development Officer. From August 2009 to August 2014, he also held the position of Chief Marketing Officer. From April 2005 to August 2009, Mr. Hornbuckle served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM MIRAGE-Europe, where he worked on the development of the company's gaming operations in the United Kingdom. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and of Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. He spent the majority of his earlier career with Mirage Resorts Inc. in various senior management positions, including the Vice President of Hotel Operations of Golden Nugget, the Vice President of Hotel Operations of the Mirage, the President of Laughlin, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Treasure Island and the Executive Vice President of Operations of MGM Grand, from 1986 to 1998. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in hotel administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
