Mr. Sumit Sadana has been the Chief Business Officer and Executive Vice President at Micron Technology, Inc. since June 22, 2017. Mr. Sadana served as the Chief Strategy Officer at SanDisk Ventures since April 7, 2010 and also served as its Executive Vice President since September 2012. He served as the Chief Strategy Officer of SanDisk LLC (Also known as SanDisk Corp.) from April 2010 to May 12, 2016 and also served as its Executive Vice President from September 2012 to May 12, 2016, General Manager of Enterprise Solutions from April 2015 to May 12, 2016 and Senior Vice President of Business Development from April 7, 2010 to September 2012. He served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. (Also known as Freescale Semiconductor Holdings I, Ltd.) since December 2004. He served as the President of Sunrise Capital from October 2008 to March 2010. He served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at NXP USA, Inc. (Also known as Freescale Semiconductor, Inc.) from December 2004 to September 2008 and served as its Acting Chief Technology Officer from January 2006 to June 2007. He joined Freescale from International Business Machines (IBM), where he made substantial contributions to IBM Technology Group as Vice President of IBM Electronic Design Technology Solutions business. He served as IBM's Director of Strategy, Technology Group from January 2001 to April 2004 and as Operations Manager of IBM Technology Group's Networking Business from February 2000 to December 2000. He started his career at IBM and held several technical, hardware design, software development, operations, strategic planning, business development and general management roles over a 13-year career at IBM. He led the negotiating team that established a significant partnership with Samsung to develop process technology. He was also responsible for driving numerous partnerships and strategic decisions, including the successful launch of the fast-growing and profitable Engineering and Technology Services business. He has been a Director of Silicon Laboratories Inc. since April 2015. He serves as a Director of The Miracle Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank. He also holds several patents. Mr. Sadana has an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.
