How's the work life balance at Micron Technology?
It's bad
Seems dependent on your department and function, like what kind of position you have. For example, in many IT, operations, manufacturing positions, a healthy work-life balance maybe hard to achieve. For other positions in engineering, finance, business, it's easier to get good work-life balance

If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Micron Technology?

Too many cooks in the kitchen. People don't stay in their lanes and try to impact projects that they only have a peripheral stake in. Very difficult for newer employees to get things done unless they have full authority like Sanjay.
There are many intelligent and passionate people here. The culture is highly collaborative. The biggest hurdle appears to be accountability in select areas and positions which seems to hinder larger cultural and business improvement efforts. I believe that the company is on the right track with the new CEO and will increase accountability which will enable the committed and innovative informal groups to succeed in moving the company and culture forward.
How can I get hired at Micron Technology as a recent grad?
I didn't join as a recent grad, instead I was a 5 year experienced engineer from other industry. Well, Micron approached me and it was the first company that gave me the offer. The pay is a bit better but not worth it. Work life balance is terrible
What kind of people does Micron Technology like to hire?
Any engineers that they can find from other companies in hardware industry and offer them at a bit better pay. Then the people will be trapped there with slow promotion and terrible work life balance.

I think the pay is very good, from what I've seen at other companies

They need to focus on working together to achieve and objective. Everyone is tying to look good so they can get raise to afford DC/NoVa
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at Micron Technology?
Because DC/NoVa is dominated by high-paying engineer and tech positions that require top secret clearance.
