  • These are stale answers. The company currently is driving to innovate with different data storage solutions with expansion at the edge and endpoint. As with any technology company, older more archaic parts of the business are shrinking, new emerging parts are growing.

  • The outlook is dim. I expect the company to shrink until somebody buys it.

  • It's one of only two relevant players in a dwindling, commodity technology.

  • Overall, the culture is good but it's a big company and slow to make changes and that can be frustrating. There is a lot of the mindset of "we've always done it this way".

  • Mosely is just starting to take over as CEO so it's hard to say right now. Luczo was overall good for HDD but made poor decisions for SSD

  • Seagate changed over to not tracking vacation, so there are no set vacation days. We still have company holidays but how much vacation each employee takes is up to the manager's discretion.

  • Yes. The future of the company is not promising. The company is shrinking through layoffs and attrition

  • Younger talent is spending two years getting trained and leaving. Senior talent is leaving for better paying jobs in industries that are not shrinking. This is happening at an increasing rate.
