
Quite a bit of office politics. Back biting between orgs and one upmanship during review time. Might sound petty but that is real world there. They also conduct numerous small layoffs so it was not have to be reported to the state. Looks better for them but it makes employees across the company always nervous.
The level hop cap. No matter how good you are you can never move up more then 2 levels in a single job change.
Grass is greener philosophy? More money, better job, better perks/benefits, closer to home, more flexible work environment.
Bad bosses. Lack of recognition for a job well done.
