Mr. Timothy E. Lang, also known as Tim, has been the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of MicroStrategy Inc. since November 2014. Mr. Lang served as the Chief Product Officer and Senior Vice President of Talemetry Inc. and served as its Vice President of Product Strategy. He has over 18 years of international experience in product management, business development, partnering, software engineering, marketing and management for small and large corporations. He served as the Vice President of Product Management (Reporting and Visualization product lines) at SAP AG, where he was responsible for software engineering, software testing and product management. He was responsible for Product Management across the Business Intelligence business (SAP Business Objects). He drove product management for the enterprise product at Crystal Decisions during the transformation of Crystal Decisions from a desktop software company to an enterprise solution and was instrumental in the successful acquisition of Crystal by Business Objects. After the acquisition of Business Objects by SAP, he drove numerous strategic projects including the strategic product partnering and product management for the Business Objects Business Intelligence product line. Mr. Lang has extensive international experience living and working in Australia, Japan, France and Canada. He holds a degree in Information Management from The University of Melbourne (Australia).
