The internship on our Information Technology Team at Miles IT is an exciting opportunity to learn on the job at a company where business and technology intersect. In this position, you will be helping Miles IT and our customers operate more efficiently through the proper use of today's technologies. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills who also have an aptitude and interest in computer technologies, such as operating systems and networking protocols. In this role, you will learn the nuances of providing desktop and network support, with a focus on Level 1 issues. This position is a great combination of both the consulting side and the technical side of the business.

A TYPICAL DAY AS AN IT INTERN:

Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network related problems

Strong and consistent communication

Documenting work performed and other technical information

REQUIRED:

Strong interest in working with computers

Strong work ethic

Fundamental knowledge of desktop computer hardware, operating systems and computer networks

Our internship is for a period of 3 months, with full time hours, paid at a rate of $15/HR. Participants who are successful in our program could potentially be offered a full-time role with us!
