Mr. Jonathan J. Hastings, also known as Jon, has been Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Minerals Technologies Inc. since September 2012. Mr. Hastings serves as Vice President and General Manager of Packaging and Building Materials of Europe at Rohm and Haas Company. Based in Paris, Mr. Hastings is responsible for the sales, marketing, technical service, manufacturing and supply chain functions for the business in Europe. He served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Minerals Technologies Inc., since September 2011. Mr. Hastings served as European General Manager of Rohm and Haas Company since May 2005. He joined Rohm & Haas in 2003 and later he served as its Strategic Marketing Director in Adhesives and Sealants. Before joining Rohm & Haas Mr. Hastings worked with Marakon Associates as a strategy consultant advising several Fortune 100 companies as well as he worked with DuPont in several capacities including technology, manufacturing, strategic planning and market development in the polymers, fibers and pigments businesses. Mr. Hastings has experience in several industries including energy, oil and gas, financial services, aerospace and equipment manufacturing. He has been a Director of AMCOL International Corporation since May 9, 2014. He holds Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1984, Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of S. Carolina in 1987 and MBA from Wharton in 1996.
