He served as a Vice President of Africa, Chad/Nigeria of ExxonMobil Development Company, Houston since 2001. He joined ExxonMobil Development Company in 1979. After several assignments in Texas and New Jersey, in 1991 Mr. Albers was transferred to Esso Australia in Melbourne as Technical Manager and then served as its Operations Manager. He served as Alaska Interests Manager and Production Manager for the Western U.S. Mr. Albers serves as a Vice Chairman of United States Council for International Business. He serves on the Texas A & M Engineering Advisory Council. He is a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Institution of Engineers Australia. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A & M University.
