I have been with Modus for almost 5 years and have grown more during my tenure than the previous 12 years in software development at other awesome companies. It's hard work, but worth it.

I love my job. I have learned more while being at Modus than anywhere else. I have been constantly challenged and have had the ability to continuously move up into a leadership role.

Transparent. No micromanagement. Strategic. Open-minded. Hard working.

Company paid healthcare for families.

Being constantly challenged. Being given the autonomy to do my job. Constantly learning and having wonderful mentors.

For me, the ability to be paid a fair wage while working remotely is key. I am able to have a work life balance.

I was able to speak to a lot of people and learn a lot about the company. Everything was about to be done remotely.

Very smart team. Hard working, globally dispersed, hard working, Active in software communities and speaking around the globe. Love to teach and open to learning.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
100% focused on hiring top talent from around the globe. When the company embraces remote work and how invaluable communication is, it makes everything better. We are able to easily trust each other. In addition, Modus supports each of us in our career paths.

Our company hires smart people that are willing to share information and learn. People are treated well no matter where they hail from or the role they play at Modus. We are a Remote first company, and pride ourselves on finding the best talent world wide.
What makes you most happy at work?
Not to be totally cliche, but I love the people I work with. I am a person that wants to constantly learn, and I get to daily. Also, the work is challenging and pushes me outside my comfort zone. No better way to master something than be thrown into it!
What are some of the best things about your team?
I am surrounded by some of the smartest people I've ever worked with. I learn something new every day, and for me, that is very satisfying and gratifying. I am also part of a team of egoless people that are open to feedback, listen to ideas from others, and have fun while doing it.
What did you like most about the interview process?
While it was a pain to have many steps to getting hired, I now realize how important it was to find a person that would be a good culture fit and have the skills to be successful at Modus and working with our clients. Also, the team is very open and honest in the interview process.
