Ms. Catherine Gillis Odelbo, also known as Cathy, serves as the President of Equity Research at Morningstar Inc., Research Division. Ms. Odelbo serves as a Head of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships at Morningstar Inc. since July 2012. She is responsible for working with firm's senior management team on the company's overall strategic planning process, mergers and acquisitions and major partnerships. Ms. Odelbo served as President of Equity and Credit Research at the firm. She joined the firm in 1988 as a Mutual Fund Analyst and from 1999 to 2000 served as Senior Vice President of Content Development as well as Publisher and Editor at the firm's stock and closed-end fund research. In 2000, she was named president of retail, overseeing all print and online products for individual investors. Ms. Odelbo served as global Equity and Credit Research division from 2009 until she assumed her current role in 2012 President of Equity Research since February 2009 and also served as its President of Individual Business from 2000 to February 2009. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in American history from The University of Chicago and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
