Very antiquated policies and processes, still operate like an old California bank. Poor mgmt on several levels. Disappointing culture. Respect not practiced and/or fostered.
Inspiring people to do their best and trust their subordinates to do their job
Talent retention. No value placed on employees. Good talent leaving and taking institutional knowledge with them. Now left with directionless and clueless management with zero leadership skills. Excel at creating fancy decks and tracking issues, but ultimately providing zero value add for bank.
communicate short term & long term goals and follow through. Often times, it is communicated through meetings. However, often time the goals are shifted but never communicated to the team.
I feel raises could be better. Being a top performer should equate to a higher annual pay increase
Base salaries are way below market and management/HR don't care
Bonuses have been minimized to two a year and they are strictly up to management
If they would stop taking stuff away from us that might help. We used to have outstanding benefits and now we do not. We can't even get a luncheon like we used to for milestone anniversaries.
Need a better way to advance. The cuts here have forced all of us to work long crazy hours without any end in sight. Promotions are few and far between.
Some people are expected to do more even though everyone is supposed to be equally rounded
Less meetings. Act as one team vs a silo.

Spend lot of time in meetings , most of the time unnecessary meetings.

People are great but most of us spend a lot of time trying to come up with solutions or workarounds for technology or systems that simply do not work.

Stop with the crazy changes for no reason! So much time spent getting executives up to speed or waiting on an executive to be available or having an exec make arbitrary changes that create giant ripples in the organization and add no value. Very disheartening. Let people do their jobs!

Branches are closing down. Positions are being eliminated. Customers and employees are afraid the bank is going under
New management that actually has a vision and can implement it. Be consistent would also help.
Establish a culture of mutual respect while fostering careers of hardworking, valuable employees under the management of competent, compassionate individuals who strive to lift people up into a successful team of people who truly do want to go to work each day.
Due to multiple changes, my skill set no longer matches the work that needs to be done. I am doing tasks and activities that I did 10 years ago. I am not growing and there is no opportunity to do so. Leaving very soon.
