They are transparent to the whole company and answers questions honestly
The leadership team truly wants the best for the employees and business which is a big part of what makes Mutual of Omaha great. However, many of them only have an insider view of the organization and are a large part of why there are outdated systems, policies, and processes still in place.
They care about the employees.
My Leadership Team always keeps me informed about changes within the Company.

We are a small but high functioning team
The team members truly enjoy the work environment. My supervisor fosters open communication, transparency, and proactive feedback. My team is amazing.
the team I trained with were great but sadly they all left less than 6-7 months - I left just after a year
The peer-to-peer interactions, when we can commiserate and I know I'm not the only one dealing with the same upper level treatment. At least I'm not being singled out, I guess.

Company seems to actually care about employees and their interests. the company will pay you to go to school even if the schooling isnt for moving up in the company and offers many employee resource groups such as for women in leadership, black employees, latino/a employees, and LGBTQ

Given the chance to interact with potential team members
The interview process was transparent and completely relevant to the role I applied. The people who interviewed me were knowledgable communicative and positive about their experience.
There were two interviews. The first was with leadership, was conversational, and felt like it was primarily for culture fit. The second was with future colleagues and was more about the job's duties. They were better at gauging my abilities and could best answer my job-specific questions.
It was very professional and no deception
Completely remote. No garbage/unpersonable group interview. Interview did not feel like a string along or a sales pitch. did not require any personal monetary or resource investment (yes, I have had that before)
