Enable us to do our best work
Our leadership team embodies the company values. A fantastic combination of brilliance and kindness. Clearly concerned with doing right by employees and customers, not just maximizing revenue or appeasing investors
They try and keep everyone in the loop with the company's progress.

Base salary was fair to market
High earning potential from commissions
MX covers a large chunk of healthcare so it's significantly less expensive than everywhere else I've worked. We also have lots of fantastic perks
The time off policy is nice.
I love the variable pay (for certain teams). Motivates you to hit your OKRs and be a team player.

Very smart people who are dedicated and work hard.
Everyone is a very high performer
Clearly care about the organization, the team, and clients. There is no toxic competitive environment where success is a zero-sum game
The majority of people are willing to help you with getting through your questions.
We have a fun group of team members who have come from different backgrounds, and we all sit close to each other without anyone being too loud. Our VP periodically surprises us with a different team building activity to spice things up and help us bond as a team.

The collective drive to build
People who have questions and issues are not only encouraged to speak up but actually do ... on Slack, in our company town halls, and in meetings. Overall I think people really do live our "objectivity in discourse" and "founder mindset" values.

Panel interview, presentation to group
How many people I got to meet and how transparent interviewers were about challenges and culture at MX. They gave me a pretty deep look before letting me make a decision about joining
Getting to meet team members
Getting interviewed by members of the executive team. That meant a lot to me.
It was easy to talk to the people and give them an honest picture of what I'm like professionally.

The feeling of contributing and being relevant
Knowing that my work does, in a small way, make the world a bit better and to have inspiring people around me to execute our vision
The potential to move up
I feel like I'm treated like a grown up. It's knowing I can come and go as I please and don't have that feeling that someone is looking over my shoulder. That goes for our unlimited vacation policy too. It's refreshing, and it makes me wonder why every company doesn't do it this way.
Interacting with cool people. Lots of free food. Money.
