How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at NanoString Technologies?
It really depends on what department you are in. Some employees are constantly stretched and overworked while others may experience regular downtime. I’ve found if you set firm boundaries in the beginning you are much better off for maintaining a reasonable balance. There are also some employees who have no problem giving up their social life for work and that can leach over to those who want more balance.
