What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership truly cares about employees and is accountable for their team's success.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to the subject matter experts (in the rank and file) they hire and giving them autonomy to find a satisfactory outcome
What is the best part about your compensation package?
You are paid based on contribution and performance. My income has increased dramatically over the past few years as I've grown and shown I am able to contribute at a higher level. I love that I haven't had to "wait for a promotion" to increase my compensation, instead I just increase my skills.
National Funding has one of the best comp packages out there.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My pay is way below market for my title and responsibilities. I would feel better if my pay were raised to be at least somewhat competitive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They hold prior knowledge of why things are done a certain way.
Our team really cares about eachother and enjoys working together. Everyone challenges and encourages each other to perform at their best but are willing to jump in if someone on the team needs some help.
We all respect each other and work together very well. This is mainly because we have such a great leader.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Try to be helpful and not overly critical
The rank and file employees I've worked with here at National Funding has been excellent. They're all smart, friendly, hard working peop
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company has a work hard/ play hard balance. They will challenge you to do your best and perform at high levels. You will continue to grow and be engaged in your work, and come to expect your colleagues do the same. However, they really value a balance with personal life and give flexibility.
The culture is upbeat, positive and fast-paced. It's not for everyone, but I love it.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Nobody takes their work seriously, the CFO is always complaining about his back problems and wasting time chatting instead of letting others do their job. Terrible leadership
Employees need to feel valued (beyond culture building events) in terms of pay, respect, and trust.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The relaxed atmosphere and casual discussions that were held

What makes you most happy at work?
My teammates are awesome and I get to work on challenging and interesting work.
The impact that I can make. I'm 1 of 240 employees who can make a big impact on the company culture and bottom line.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Overcharging customers will less credit score. Taking advantage of their situation
Employees, I think, feel micromanaged, and like cogs in the machine--very replaceable. They don't feel valued (in spite of fun events).
