Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

increased inflation and high cost of living in my area means our meager 2-3% annual raises arent raises. 4-5%+ annual increases should be standard, with 6%+ for high performers. Reward good people for good work. A well paid good employee is cheaper than a revolving door of excellent cheap employees.

False pretenses with use of cell phone

The wages for my position are terrible. I made more money ten years ago as an entry level csr. The medical insurance is also poor.

What are some of the best things about your team?

This is one of the best teams I've had the opportunity to work with. They are interested in finding the best approach to any project, without ego or defensiveness; they are all eager to dive in and evenly divide the load; last, the team is humble, quickly elevating others' good work.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Cultural diversity training and manners training. They are going to get in trouble soon for HIPA violations. The person to tell me a coworker is pregnant should be her. Not my manager telling the team. Same as if someone has a medical condition.

80/20 rule. I enjoy the 20% that do a good job and take pride in their work. The other 80% are fun to hang with, but remote work has made that hard and less inviting.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I believe that tone starts from the top. Our executive team is exceedingly positive -- from replying to individual emails with a positive remark to all-hands meetings -- and that tone is contagious through those at the company I've had the opportunity to work with.

Bad coworkers dont get pushed out, good coworkers dont get raised up very well. Need to address bad management and bad employees quicker.

I appreciated that NAVEX invests heavily in interviewing for fit, which meant that I had the opportunity to meet many of the team members I'd ultimately be working with. This allowed me to get a more holistic view of the company and culture.
