Executive Bio

Mr. Brendon Howe has been Senior Vice President of Emerging Products at NetApp, Inc. since April 2014. Mr. Howe served as Vice President of Products and Solutions Marketing at NetApp since September 2012 until April 2014. Mr. Howe served as Senior Director and General Manager, V-Series Business Unit of Network Appliance Inc. Mr. Howe is primarily responsible for leading Network Appliance Inc.'s virtualization product offerings within the Emerging Products group at NetApp. He served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Acopia Networks Inc. Mr. Howe joined Acopia Networks with over 19 years experience in technology marketing spanning a wide variety of products and market segments. Prior to Acopia, Mr. Howe was Vice President of Marketing at Trebia Networks, an early pioneer of storage network processors used for FC and IP storage network connectivity. At Trebia, he was responsible for all product planning and marketing initiatives. Prior to Trebia, Mr. Howe served as Vice President of Marketing and General Manager at NaviPath, an Internet services infrastructure supplier, where he built a private label Internet services business that provided communications infrastructure for Fortune 500 companies. He has held senior marketing management roles for Indus River Networks (subsequently acquired by Cabletron), Synernetics (acquired by 3Com) and Proteon, and has also worked as a Design Engineer for Raytheon's Computer Labs. Mr. Howe has a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a Master's in Business Administration with a Finance and International Business concentration from New York University's Stern School of Business.
