Mr. Ronald J. Pasek, also known as Ron, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of NetApp, Inc. since March 2016 and has been its Principal Accounting Officer since April 11, 2016. Mr. Pasek was a 20-year veteran of Sun Microsystems and has an extensive finance background. Mr. Pasek served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance at Altera Corp. from December 21, 2009 to December 2015. At Sun, Mr. Pasek served as a Vice President and Corporate Treasurer. He has also held a variety of Vice President of Finance positions at Sun, including worldwide field finance, worldwide manufacturing and U.S. field finance. He has been the Chairman of Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. since December 7, 2015. He has been an Independent Director of Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. since June 18, 2015. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration and Finance from San Jose State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
