Q&A With Neustar, Inc. Employees

Asked to all employees at Neustar, Inc.

  • Lisa-CEO needs to be replaced, most of the directors are poor leaders and visionaries

  • Hard at this moment. After the company has been bought by a private firm, Golden Gate Capital, the culture has shifted for the worse. Budgets are being cut left and right, and holiday party has been canceled. It is a telltale sign...

  • Lay out clear and measurable results. Then bring the teams together in order to achieve them. Most managers, directors and VPs are not leaders. They need to be replaced with people who will actually talk to their teams and direct them where they should go based upon experience. Free for all operations works great in a small shop, but not when you have enterprise level responsibilities.

Asked to all employees at Neustar, Inc.

  • The staff I worked with were great. A majority of management was unqualified for the teams they lead and lacked professionalism

  • They do not fully trust the CEO. Communication is a strong point. Still comes off as untrustworthy and lacking transparency when it comes to the things that matter the most. For example, which businesses are tanking us and which business are profitable. Hoping that turns around in the near future. To say "we don't know" because of accounting is a ridiculous response and leads us to believe that there is something to hide. Especially when we are a financially centric company. Everything must be approved!
