Ms. Preston has been the Publisher of Informermagazine at GameStop Corp. since 2000. Ms. Preston began her career in the video games industry in 1987. In 1989, she joined Software Etc. as Video Game Buyer and was promoted to General Merchandise Manager until 1995, where she played an integral role in bringing the emerging category of video games to mass market retail. Ms. Preston has owned her own executive gift service and served as a sales rep in the video game/PC software industry. Ms. Preston was recognized by Fortune magazine as one of the 10 most powerful women in gaming in 2014 and honored as a Woman to Watch in the 2003 Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's Women in Business Awards.
