Mr. Alexander von Bergwelt serves as Senior Partner Germany at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. Mr. von Bergwelt has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law and listed company advice, corporate restructurings and joint-ventures. He has advised on numerous national, international and cross-border transactions relating to a diversified range of industries. Mr. von Bergwelt regularly advises a range of clients in the financial institutions sector, including on the acquisition and the restructuring of companies and groups companies. He is also an expert in the media, private equity, automobile, engineering and renewable energy sectors. After serving in the Board of Norton Rose for several years, he joined its Executive Committee in 2009. Mr. von Bergwelt graduated from the University of Munich (Business Administration Degree, Dipl.-Kfm. 1987, Law Degree, 1988; Dr. jur. 1991). He is fluent in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
