Ms. Alison Baxter has been a Partner of Norton Rose LLP since 1999. Ms. Baxter joined the Norton Rose in 1989. Ms. Baxter was a Partner in Paris banking team until 2005 and has been a consultant in London banking team since 2007. Ms. Baxter specialises in aviation finance and offshore financings. In the aviation sector, she has been an active player for over 20 years, representing airlines, banks, export credit agencies and lessors in a wide variety of transactions. She has worked on numerous European export credit financings and PDP financings (both Airbus and Boeing), including a number of ground-breaking and award-winning deals. Her practice also encompasses the full range of commercial debt products, EIB facilities, Japanese operating leases, tax-driven leases, residual value support products, sale and leasebacks, operating leases (actual and synthetic), capital markets products, portfolio transfers and restructurings. Ms. Baxter has worked in the offshore sector for over fifteen years, acting as lead counsel on numerous project finance and corporate facilities across Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
