He is a member of the finance practice group and specialises in banking law. Oliver was born in Krefeld, Germany, in 1971. He completed his legal education at the University of Bielefeld and also studied Investment Banking at the Technical University of Chemnitz. Before joining Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer he worked with KPMG and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Oliver joined the firm in 2001. He speaks German, English and French.
