Executive Bio

Mr. Donald C. Alford, MBA has been an Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth at NV5 Inc. since February 2010. Mr. Alford has been an Executive Vice President at NV5 Global, Inc. since September 2011. He is responsible for M&A and other growth initiatives. He served as Executive Vice President and Director of U.S. Laboratories, Inc., since May 1998 and also its Secretary since June 1999. From November 2002 to November 2006, he acted as the exclusive M&A agent in the U.S. for Bureau Veritas. He was an owner of Wyman Enterprises, Inc. and served as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 1996. Mr. Alford continued to work for U.S. Laboratories, Inc., as an officer of Wyman Testing after acquisition of Wyman Enterprises, Inc. He co-founded Cornerstone Development, a real estate company that developed approximately 20 major projects in the San Diego area from 1983 to 1991. From October 1991 to June 1994, he served as president of Procom Supply Corporation. He also served as managing partner of S.A. Assets, LLC from July 1994 to September 1996. He also served as an Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968. Mr. Alford has invaluable knowledge and experience in leading engineering and consulting companies through early stage development, commercialization, private funding, initial public offering and sustained profitability and growth, as well as extensive industry M&A experience. He has been Director at U.S. Laboratories, Inc., since May 1998. He has been a Director of NV5 Global, Inc. since March 26, 2013. Mr. Alford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia.
