THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE AND WE GET ALONG WELL SO LONG AS MANAGEMENT DOESDN'T MEDDLE
I like the autonomy and flexibility that comes with the job. However, it is a struggle to get pay increases and the benefits are poor.
Surveyors are cery competent and kind
It's alright working here. I wish the compensation were better. I don't feel well connected with my teammates. The greatest benefit to working here is that management is flexible with me about time management over the week. The communication has been good. I want for more close relationships.

any company with federal contracts is going to drug test potential employees. until weed is legalized federally, they will always test for weed as well.

No, there’s a clear difference relative to the opportunities African American employees receive from within the company. Also, there’s a disproportionately low number of African Americans that work for NV5, most likely due to hiring practices.
How's the leadership on the Engineering team at NV5 Global?
Leadership is good and overall group leads are very tallented, open, and approachable. External networking is very good and marketing does a good job supporting efforts given the number of mergers and acquisitions. Internally, leaders help employees find new opportunities for growth that are in harmony with the team vision and employee's personal situation.
