ONEIL is committed to supporting our associates and the communities where they live, learn, and work. We live out our company values in the work we do each day as well as through our ongoing giveback programs that engage our team and our community in meaningful ways.

HELPING HANDS COMMITTEE
ONEIL is dedicated to creating a positive impact in the local communities where we operate. Businesses make communities stronger, and we’re honored to actively create a community our team, neighbors, and friends are proud to be part of. ONEIL gives back by supporting local education systems, providing a center and source of education for future leaders, and by helping through community service and charitable contributions. We see community involvement as community investment, and we’re committed to cultivating a culture that sees the value.

Established in 1993 with a charter of bringing hope and happiness to others, the ONEIL Helping Hands Committee has helped families and agencies in a variety of ways ranging from, but not limited to, Latch Key Program, Back to School Shoes, Adopt-A-Family, and scholarships.

LARRY E. O’NEIL SCHOLARSHIP
Annually, ONEIL awards a scholarship to a local student who demonstrates strong community involvement and academic achievement. The scholarship is named after ONEIL’s founder and is entirely funded by the employees of ONEIL. Criteria for the Larry E. O’Neil Scholarship include academic achievement, community involvement, ACT and SAT scores, and letters of recommendation. Applicants are asked to write a 500-word essay describing their candidacy for the committee.
