Established in 1993 with a charter of bringing hope and happiness to others, the ONEIL Helping Hands Committee has helped families and agencies in a variety of ways ranging from, but not limited to, Latch Key Program, Back to School Shoes, Adopt-A-Family, and scholarships.
LARRY E. O’NEIL SCHOLARSHIP
Annually, ONEIL awards a scholarship to a local student who demonstrates strong community involvement and academic achievement. The scholarship is named after ONEIL’s founder and is entirely funded by the employees of ONEIL. Criteria for the Larry E. O’Neil Scholarship include academic achievement, community involvement, ACT and SAT scores, and letters of recommendation. Applicants are asked to write a 500-word essay describing their candidacy for the committee.
