Your scale will transmit previously stored weights once coverage is restored.

    To fix this problem:

Check cellular coverage in the specific location of your scale.

While your scale may not use the same cellular network as your mobile device, you may check the signal strength on your cell to determine if there might be blackout areas inside your home.

Follow instructions in: How do I reset my scale?

Weigh in again. Check your Omada account after 5 minutes.

    Er 5 or Er 6

An Er 5 or Er 6 mean that your scale is not able to transmit your weight. This is usually due to a temporary regional network outage.Keep weighing in as usual -- your weights will be saved and transmitted when the network outage is resolved. However, if you see Er 5 or Er 6 on your scale often, you may want to try moving your scale.

  • What is the Omada Program Early Insights Study?

Omada Health Program enrollees with Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension are being invited to participate in the Omada Program Early Insights Study. The purpose of the research study is to understand how the Omada Health Program impacts the health of people with Type 2 Diabetes and/or high blood pressure in the first 6 months of the program.

How many people will be participating in the Omada Program Early Insights Study?

About 500 research participants will take part in the research study.

How will participants be invited to participate?

An email invitation will be sent to participants, inviting them to participate in the Omada Program Early Insights Study. If participants are interested in participating in the research, they will be provided with an explanation of the research, a consent form to sign if they want to volunteer, a short online questionnaire, and instructions on how to set up their appointment for the visit to their nearest Quest Diagnostics center.

How long will my participation in the Omada Program Early Insights Study last?

After participants have agreed and provided their consent to participate in the study, we expect participation in the Omada Program Early Insights Study to take a total of 90 minutes, which will take place over the course of 6 months. Within one month of enrollment into the Omada Health Program, participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire and undergo laboratory measurements and tests. Omada Health will pay for all laboratory measurements and tests to be taken, and these services will be provided by a federal certified lab, Quest Diagnostics. Laboratory measurements and tests will be collected twice: once at the start of participation in the research and once 6 months into the study. Participants will also be asked to complete the online questionnaire twice: once at the start of participation in the research and once 3 months into the study. Throughout the duration of the study, participants are expected to use the Omada Health Program as they normally would.

Ive decided I no longer want to participate in the Omada Early Insights Study. What should I do?

If you decide that you would no longer like to participate in the Omada Early Insights Study, we ask that you contact the research team at [email protected] or (415) 965-6700 to let us know. The research investigator will make note of your decision and remove you from the research study. Withdrawal from the research study will not impact your participation in the Omada Health Program in any way. You will continue to receive all services and resources provided by the Omada Health Program.

What happens after the research study is complete?

After the completion of the research study, research participants will continue their normal participation in the Omada Health Program. Research participants who decide to withdraw from the study at any point in time will also return to their normal participation in the Omada Health Program.
