One Medical – Long time employee (almost 10 yrs). While the individuals who work there are wonderful, leadership makes day-to-day work life difficult and they underpay massively. I got a $40k raise by leaving. Each department has their own personal priorities that often compete against other department's goals. | Comparably

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Higher pay, industry professionals (not just promoting admins to manager roles that require real industry experience), C-suite leaders making decisions with their employees in mind.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I left for an offer that was $40k higher than my salary at OM. I did not just feel under valued, I was undervalued. Too many hours and not enough actual compensation. I did not need to hear from HR how good the medical benefits were, I needed actual cash I could use to live and eat.
