Not to be repetitive, but the people here are all so genuinely nice and good-natured that you can’t help but feel the need to strive to be better with them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compared to other companies, the compensation packages are lackluster. However, there are benefits that One Planet Ops offers that most other companies do not, including a full stocked kitchen + catering, community service days, generous holiday breaks, and the ability to work remotely on occasion.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I honestly enjoy everybody that I work with. There are no weird power dynamics or uncomfortable situations as most people feel that when there is an issue, it’s best to just confront it head on in a respectful manner. It’s easy getting along with the team here - I feel fortunate for the friendships.
