The best thing about the leadership at Orange Logic is that they are in the trenches with the rest of the employees. They are putting in far more hours than the regular employees and are dedicated to the product AND the team itself.
Ambitious and honest management and tram
Staffing levels unrealistic for the volume of work, leading to burnout/turnover. Lack of internal training means that it takes longer than necessary for employees to become competent, so teams operate constantly at a labor deficit - new hires are slow to ramp up as experienced staff carry the load
Organizational structure is non-existent, leading to significant confusion and rampant micromanagement.
Pay is above average. Benefits are average.
Well paid, great benefits overall
Salaries are competitive and the opportunity to make more is always there as long as you're willing to work for it. The benefits package, specifically the 401(k) and medical benefits are incredibly strong. Since the company is flexible, it is easy to take off time when you need it.
Healthcare, with great plan options 100% covered by the company. Other benefits are generous as well.

Colleagues are very friendly, though there is almost no time for socializing given the remote work situation and workload
While the expectation is that your 8 hours are a full 8 hours, the company respects your personal time and does NOT encourage employees working overtime. Overall health & well-being should never be sacrificed-- something that comes from the top-down.

Meeting several different individuals across different teams, some of them directly involved in the team you are joining, is a refreshing change of pace for interviews in tech. The brain teasers felt a little outdated as a tactic.
Speaking directly with the CEO-- that is rare! Even though the company is growing, it makes you feel more connected to the bigger picture.
