Outreach Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Amazing parental benefits far beyond most other companies

Review from HR Dept

It's a great package all around. The pay is definitely high for the area, and the insurance is some of the best I've had in a while.

Review from Engineering Dept

I believe I have above market rate and I'm excited about the stock options

Review from Customer Success Dept

Good health benefit and WFH support.

Review from Business Development Dept

Equity grants for every employee

Review from Marketing Dept

I'm paid a very competitive wage that makes me feel valued for the work that I do.

Review from Sales Dept

Stock options, fair wage, unlimited PTO

Review from Customer Success Dept

Ability to make more money than I ever have before

Review from Sales Dept

Excellent pay and good benefits

Review from Business Development Dept

Participating as a shareholder (stocks, options)

Review from HR Dept

The best part is the equity

Review from Finance Dept

Good benefits, bonus is nice, equity is also a nice bonus.

Review from HR Dept

I think it is fair but in all honestly doesn't make the most sense. You can be in the same position for 5 years (Over Performing) and not see a single pay raise. Most tenured reps make the same as new reps (On Target). Slap in the face really. C-suite can't give earned Raises...

Review from Sales Dept

Base comp, bonus, and health benefits

Review from HR Dept

salary is comparable to market value

Review from Customer Success Dept

Parental leave package and infertility benefits.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I enjoy the flexible time off.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Outreach pays well below market for many GTM roles - Sales, SCs, etc. Outreach should invest more in currently employees and paying them regular increases equal to market value and inflation. Retention bonuses, spot bonuses would be nice way to keep employees feeling valued in tough times.

Review from Sales Dept

Too much compensation is tied to hitting bonus targets rather than salary, which is below market for my role. Outreach also has a strong bias for recognizing salespeople over other roles.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I make less than the industry norm, as well as most of my team as it sits today. I don't believe that the current pay structure is working for my division knowing the amount of control this side of the org has on direct sales and revenue goals being hit. I would feel better with less variable pay.

Review from Sales Dept

Adjust and accommodate to pay at market rate or better to retain employees.

Provide pay at the market, pay women equally, and provide a standard set of benefits. I'm not even asking for above and beyond, just at market would be an improvement.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation that aligns with tenure, subject matter mastery, and market value of the role.

Review from Customer Support Dept

1. Band transparency would help better inform my salary hypothesis 2. 401K Match

Review from Customer Success Dept

We do not have a 401K matching program at all, and there have been no discussions regarding matching salaries to the extremely high rates of inflation, so the buying power of employee salaries is significantly diminished versus what they were initially set at upon hire.

Review from Customer Support Dept

My pay is not inline with similar roles inside or outside the company nor is it reflective of the impact I have within the company. In addition I and my team receive little acknowledgement or appreciation outside of my direct manager.

Review from Product Dept

The responsibilities and role does not align with market compensation.

Review from Finance Dept

Comparing to others in my position at other Seattle tech companies with lower titles

Review from Admin Dept

Substantial annual increases that are more than inflation, more roles to strive for and of course - 401K Match

Review from Customer Success Dept

pay is less than those entering into the company despite having more experience/tenure. lack of swag, team get-togethers/morale, lack of food

Review from Customer Success Dept

Bigger base salary and better alignment with peers, based on performance

Review from Customer Support Dept

Pay at market rate for the same job title. However a large portion of comp is in potential stock and has large upside but that is still speculative.

Review from Marketing Dept

Specifics around equity comp and what to expect in terms of equity bumps is not transparent. For those who worked here prior to annual equity bumps, there is a one-to-several years gap for equity comp. Essentially if you were hired after 2020 you will receive on average/yr more equity after year 4.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Compensation changes don't have universal rules that make things equitable. Certain departments are valued more than others and it shows in the compensation.

Review from HR Dept

more competitive pay that doesn't rely on bonuses. receiving 100% of quarterly bonus is almost impossible with unachievable quotas

Review from Sales Dept

My salary is under the average market rate and no action has been taken to correct this, despite advocating for myself.

Review from Customer Success Dept

No adjustment for inflation, no 401k matching. Vision and dental insurances could be better.
